We specifically created the Airborne Trucker Hat in honor of the late Richard "Dick" Winters, the decorated WWII veteran and former commander of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, forever memorialized in the HBO series Band of Brothers.
When re-watching Band of Brothers a few years ago — and seeing the Infantry overseas garrison side caps of the paratroopers — we knew we needed to recreate the iconic classic in modern, trucker hat form.
